Characteristics of a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu GI

The big difference of a BJJ GI cheap is in its resistance. It is made of 100% cotton with reinforced seams. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu or BJJ is a martial art from traditional Jujitsu and is practiced with a keikogi, the famous BJJ GI. Finally, a BJJ GI is also available in several colors. Admittedly, there are only 3 colors which are authorized in competition: white, blue and black. How much does a BJJ GI cost?

The price of a BJJ GI varies from 59 € to 250 €. It is defined according to several factors: the quality of the cotton, the manufacture and the brand of the BJJ GI. The brands of GIs made in Brazil are the best known by the general public: Atama, Koral, Vulkan, Venum ... Indeed, Brazilian cotton is well known for its good quality and robustness. The majority of Ju Jitsu GIs from these brands cost around € 130 to € 150 in France.

However, it is possible to choose a cheap BJJ GI made from cotton from Pakistan. Many English and European manufacturers choose cotton produced in Pakistan because it is much cheaper. However, this does not affect the quality of the BJJ GI.
